LaGuardia Community College has received a $1.2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to encourage under-represented minority students who are interested in the sciences to pursue medical and basic sciences as a career. This is the fourteenth consecutive year that LaGuardia’s program has been funded.
