The Engineering Science Program is housed within the Mathematics Department at LaGuardia Community College (LaGCC). This program is a Dual/Joint program that has been articulated with the City College of the City University of New York (CCNY).

LaGCC and CCNY will offer an Associate in Science (AS) degree in Engineering Science (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Science) as a jointly registered, dual admission program with the existing Bachelor of Engineering in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (B.E./E.E.) at CCNY.

Students completing the two-year program and graduating from LaGCC with an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Science and at least a cumulative C average will have a seamless transition to the upper division of the baccalaureate program at CCNY and will be guaranteed admittance to an appropriate track (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical) of the four-year baccalaureate program at CCNY.

Students will also have the option to transfer to other engineering programs.
