At The College Discovery Resource Center (C-410) students can reserve appointments for free individual tutoring, or stop by and request help with difficult courses.

One-to-one tutoring is available for most courses offered at LaGuardia. Students should come for tutoring as soon as they feel that they do not completely understand their coursework, not just when they receive low or failing grades or are feeling overwhelmed by a course.

CD tutors can help students:

• get better grades in difficult courses
  
• pass basic skills classes in a shorter period of time
  
• improve their study and test-taking skills
  
• raise their Grade Point Average
